Hey there! I’m Kymberley, mum, teacher and the creator of Pearly’s Pretties. You wouldn’t believe how often I get asked if my name is Pearl—but nope, it’s not! "Pearly" was actually a nickname my brother gave me as a kid when he couldn’t quite pronounce "Kymberley." When choosing a name for my brand, I wanted something that reflected me but wasn’t tied to my real name. Plus, I can’t resist some good alliteration—so Pearly’s Pretties was the perfect fit!

From a very young age I’ve always loved being creative- (Random fun facts- #1The lady at the local library would always get the glitter out if she knew I was attending an activity #2 I won many colouring in competitions when I was younger- I distinctly remember winning a Toy Story 2 CD when the movie was released and even tickets to see the Wiggles movie and a Wags the dog toy!- BIG STUFF!  lol though in all seriousness my creatively led me down the teaching path and have been a teacher for the past 10 years, teaching lower primary.  My passion for creativity and the outlet it brings led me to start making unique, handcrafted accessories.
